Living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) can be a daunting challenge, with everyday risks such as assistive-equipment failures, falls, and respiratory complications. People with SMA need all the support they can get to retain their independence as the disease progresses.
Partnering with Roche, SMA Schweiz, and the CHUV, we have set out to develop a comprehensive digital health solution for people with SMA—leveraging ambient sensors, wearables, mobile apps, and AI—to better manage and prevent emergency situations.
We empower people with SMA with the tools and support they need to experience independence like never before. With a mobile app that enables calling for help whenever needed, and automatic responses in case of emergency. Ambiant sensors and wearables evaluate respiratory function 24/7, allowing caregivers to detect early signs of degradation, and to initiate prevention efforts if needed.
